It’s definitely all hands to the pump at Tesla this week – even company chair Robyn Denholm has been on hand to help deliver Tesla Model 3 electric sedans at the Alexandria facilities in Sydney on Friday.
One surprised member of the Tesla Owners Club of Australia said he didn’t quite realise who it was until they exchanged business cards at the end of the run-through of the attributes of the car – in his case a midnight silver performance version.
The happy Tesla car owner says he prefers to remain anonymous. He posted his encounter on the closed TOCA Facebook page, but it also found its way on to another forum too, to the delight of readers.
That elicited other reports of a similar encounter. Including from a delighted Catherine Walker (pictured top with Denholm) who posted “Great customer service from Tesla chair Robyn, feeling like a VIP.”
Denholm, an Australian, is the former CFO of Telstra who became the Tesla chair last year after Elon Musk was urged to hand over that responsibility to another person.
