Following initial launches at the All Energy 2018 Conference and Exhibition, Selectronic are proud to add the new SelectSun solar inverter and Advanced Multi-Phase upgrade kit for the SP PRO multi-mode inverter to its product offering.
The SelectSun is a 3 Phase Grid-Tie inverter and the result of a technology partnership with renowned European manufacturer, REFU Elektronic GmbH. Available in 20kW and 40kW models, SelectSun uses patented, UltraEta® 5 level topology for high energy yields, as well as integrated monitoring via the REFUlog portal.
SelectSun provides superior performance in harsh outdoor environments, operating at maximum power in 40°C ambient temperature thanks to its natural convection cooling design feature and IP65 rating.
The SelectSun is a flexible solution, from rooftop PV to solar farms, or even as a true Off-Grid solution when combined with the SP PRO multi-mode inverter for energy storage. The low maintenance, lightweight design (38kg for the 20kW model) also allows for easy installation.
The new Advanced Multi-Phase upgrade kit for the SP PRO inverter allows for improved performance, increased flexibility, quicker installation and set-up time.
The upgrade kit includes Advanced Communications Cards, Communication Cables and a simple firmware upgrade, which means that shunts and control wiring is no longer needed, therefore reducing installation time. Set-up and configuration time is also reduced via the installation wizard on the Selectronic SP-Link platform.
SP PRO inverters in a multi-phase installation no longer have to be set-up and configured individually; the new Advanced Multi-Phase upgrade kit now has true primary-secondary configuration allowing the inverters to work as one ‘brain’ with multiple ‘hearts’. The Select.live remote monitoring solution is also compatible, with only one unit needed to provide a performance summary of multi-phase systems.
The upgrade also provides balanced generator loading across each phase and is compatible for grid fail generator back-up (on 24V and 48V models).
The new SelectSun 3 Phase Grid-Tie inverter is also compatible with the Advanced Multi-Phase upgrade kit. The Advanced Comms Cards provided in the upgrade kit are ‘future-ready’ for increased capabilities in paralleling, advanced micro-grids and managed batteries.
