The input of the likes of Garnaut into climate policy has done more harm than good. The nonsense ideas like cap and trade were just the start and the carbon price can’t be sold politically. Now as an investor in the renewable space he is hopelessly conflicted. He should just keep his outdated ideas to himself for the good of everyone.
