Innovation one: Optimiser(s) Suitable for Different Scenarios
In the conventional solution, there are several limitations about residential system installation, like all modules in one string had to face the same direction, modules could not be located in shaded areas, individual strings required identical module type, which reduce the ROI (return on investment).
Huawei partial optimiser solution can deal with complex scenarios and perfectly minimize the effect caused by the limitations above, enables homeowner to put more panels on rooftop even under some shadow to maximise solar production.

Current issues include the fact that a DC module voltage in an on-grid rooftop PV system can be higher than 500V, and can’t be shut down in emergency, even when the inverter is turned off. Conventional solutions with web browser or LCD based commissioning requires manual settings on time, date, grid code, management system IP address etc. The high temperature and humidity environment in Australia may cause the failure of LCD and buttons.
