Tweet of the Day: Adani leaves itself with soot on its face

We simply couldn’t let this tweet go without giving it the proper attention it deserves. Adani, the Indian company proposing to build the biggest coal mine in Australia, wondering what it could do for the environment on Earth Day.

Um, now, let’s see ….

Adani’s PR attempt to get on-side with those who gravitate more towards using energy sources that don’t contribute so strongly to emissions doesn’t seem to be working out so well, with the general feedback slightly less than positive.

Perhaps someone in the company needs to realize they are not exactly # one for the # world earth day

Reminds me of the taxi industry in AUS asking on social media, “tell us about the time when you were pleased with the taxi service”.

      It backfired spectacularly.

        Very true
They were totally smothered with messages telling them how very poorly they treat customers.
For instance personal experience ” Could you put the AC on please?”
        Answer ” No “

Its up there with Chevrons “human energy add” and BP with the greenish yellowish sunflower type logo. They must really think we are all a bunch of dunder heads….

Well, given who the Australian public has put in office — we are really a bunch of dunder heads 🙂

Love the irony of the Adani ad. Very wall-e. A single plant growing in a piece of rubbish.

I bet most critics here did not know (or care) that Adani own and operate 800MW of solar!

Get up to 3 quotes from pre-vetted solar (and battery) installers.
