JinkoSolar speaks about Solar Cell Technology Roadmap at PV CellTech Conference in Malaysia

Penang, Malaysia, March 14th, 2018 – JinkoSolar Holding Co., Ltd. (NYSE: JKS) (the “Company,” or “JinkoSolar”), a global leader in the solar PV industry, today announced that it was invited and spoke at the PV Celltech conference hosted in Penang, Malaysia.

The conference, hosted by one of the world’s leading PV media groups – PV Tech, seeks to explore key issues driving solar cell production changes and advancement in solar cell technology.

JinkoSolar Chief Scientist Dr. Qi Wang, on behalf of the company, gave a presentation on the topic of “Technology innovation & roadmaps from the industry’s leading cell producers” where he spoke about how JinkoSolar has been able to break the world record in P-type multi-crystalline PERC solar cell efficiency and module output so many times.

The location of Penang is also of significance to JinkoSolar as the company, following China’s Belt and Road Strategy, has made heavy investments abroad and built its largest overseas production facility in the city.

JinkoSolar’s Penang production facility has a solar cell manufacturing capacity of 1.5 GW and module manufacturing production facility of 1.3 GW, creating over 4000 jobs for the local community.
