SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA –27 September 2018– Sungrow, the global leading inverter supplier for renewables, announced today that it is poised for further growth and expansion in Australia with the appointment of BayWa r.e.Solar Systems as its new distribution partner.
BayWa r.e. Solar Systems is a subsidiary of the BayWa r.e. group, a global renewable energy developer, service supplier, wholesaler and energy solutions provider. BayWa r.e. Solar Systems’ appointment as a distribution partner coincides with Sungrow’s announcement of its largest combined product launch to date in Australia with nine new products unveiled, catering to the residential, commercial and utility markets.
This is the first distribution partnership that Sungrow has established with BayWa r.e. globally. Under this agreement, BayWa r.e. Solar Systems will distribute Sungrow’s full range of products in Australia.

Since establishing a direct presence in Australia in 2016, BayWa r.e. Solar Systems has been responsible for distributing over 63MW of solar components in both the residential and commercial market. BayWa r.e. Solar Systems attributes their growing success to their well-experienced and highly technical sales and engineering team.
