Program reveals fantastic line up at EV conference, early bird tickets close soon

The Driven and RenewEconomy are delighted to announce the program for the inaugural Electric Vehicle Transition Conference, featuring many of the country’s leading policy and technology experts and analysts.

Keynote addresses will be delivered by ClimateWorks, focusing on the role EVs can play in cutting emissions, Bloomberg (EV take up), and the Australian Energy Market Operator (grid integration).

We also have contributions from networks, energy retailers, EV makers and charging technology companies, plus many of the innovators bringing new ideas and technologies to the market. We will also hear on the policy road-map from Labor’s climate change spokesman Mark Butler, and the ACT’s Shane Rattenbury, as the capital territory shifts focus from 100% renewables to decarbonised transport.

The market is clearly ready and waiting. The Driven has attracted a monthly audience of more than 150,000 people, indicating the interest and pent-up demand for EVs in Australia, which is currently trailing the world, partly due to political inertia and the lack of planning.

The conference will be held at the University of Technology, Sydney on August 26 and 27. Early bird tickets close July 31. Click here to find out more.
