RenewEconomy continues to enjoy a strong boost to its readership, posting a record month for page views in May, although it fell tantalisingly short of the magic million mark with a total of 986,242, according to Google Analytics.
The data showed that the number of unique visitors to the web site totalled 325,000 in the month of May. Both are extraordinarily high numbers for an Australian niche publication such as RenewEconomy, and represent growth of 42 per cent over the last year.
Indeed, total page views in the 12 months to the end of May were 9.4 million – up from 6.6 million in the previous 12 months.
RenewEconomy would like to thank all its staff, readers, commenters, contributors, advertisers, donors, spell-checkers, news-tippers and critics for their ongoing support and engagement.
Over the next month or so, we will have some exciting developments to show you, including a major expansion of our coverage of electric vehicles, and a redesign that will make the site easier to use, particularly on mobiles, and improve the graphs!
All the best,
The RenewEconomy team.
