The bright force behind an Aussie company charging the world

PRESS RELEASE

Newton, South Australia – September 14, 2016

Screen Shot 2016-09-16 at 5.41.47 PMLocal entrepreneur Jenny Paradiso has just been named as a finalist in the 2016 Telstra Business Women’s Awards in South Australia.  As the co-founder and Managing Director of Suntrix, a reputable solar energy company, Jenny has been the driving force behind this local brand that is now charging into national and global markets.

Jenny is yet another powerful female business leader who is growing a great Australian company, although she sees this as secondary to championing the increased use of renewable energy in homes and workplaces to reduce our carbon footprint.  “At the end of the day, if I can challenge home owners and businesses to think about their environmental impact, plus help them save money at the same time, I’m happy”, says Jenny.

With a range of business awards behind her, including Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year, and being listed in Smart Company’s top 30 female entrepreneurs, Jenny credits the recognition to the Suntrix team, rather than her own accomplishments.  “A business leader is nothing without a good team and we have an amazing one.  We share the same values and work together to achieve business goals.”

Jenny is also a member of the Clean Energy Council’s (CEC) PV Leadership Committee, and was a founding member of the CEC’s PV Retailers Code of Conduct.  She also shares her leadership skills as a mentor with Flinders University’s Venture Dorm program, and through her board seat on the Cure4CF Foundation.

In their ongoing pursuit of engaging home owners and business operators to consider renewable energy and their carbon footprint, the Suntrix team have recently developed a low-cost innovative solar monitoring tool. myWatt is a simple tool that attaches to solar systems, and transmits easy to read performance graphs and reports to your computer or smartphone. myWatt provides daily insight into how you are reducing your carbon footprint, and acts as a safety check to ensure you are saving money with your solar investment.  This latest innovation from Jenny and her team, is now taking her company to the world, with already growing sales in Europe.
