Renewable energy group Pacific Hydro have announced the winners of its ‘A Clean Energy Future for Australia’ photography competition with John Morissey of Portland, Victoria and Michael Renga of Geelong, Victoria taking out equal first prize. Both will take home $1,000 in prize money.
Creativity, content, composition and technique were the key criteria for the judges, as well as each photographer’s ability to capture the theme of a clean energy future.
“The aim of this competition was to highlight the importance of renewable energy in Australia and we received some great entries,” Executive General Manager Australia for Pacific Hydro Mr Crockett said in a statement.
“I’d like to congratulate the winners of the competition, as well as everyone who took the time to submit their unique entries.
