PRESS RELEASE

RedEarth Energy Storage Limited (RedEarth) is proud to announce its SunRise Home Battery system has been approved by Australias Clean Energy Council (CEC), making it the first Australian made and owned product to be featured on the CECs approved list of inverters in the all-in-one BESS category. This means the residential battery solution will be eligible for all government grant and subsidy programs.

RedEarth Co-Founder and CTO Chris Winter said: To be the first Australian owned manufacturer with a residential battery system on the approved CEC list is a huge milestone for RedEarth. With Australians embracing the benefits of solar energy storage more than ever before, we are proud to be providing consumers with a residential battery solution that is 100% manufactured by Australians in Australia.”

The SunRise is an Australian outdoor-rated, plug-and-play battery system that stores excess solar electricity for use after the sun goes down. Focused on long-term reliability, the SunRise has a storage capacity between 3.3 – 26kWh to easily support the average Australian home’s daily consumption of power.

The system can be monitored remotely to ensure it is operating optimally. As a genuinely battery ready solution, additional batteries can be added as needs grow.

In the next four years, RedEarth is expected to manufacture more than $70 million worth of battery systems. The company is investing in additional research and development to ensure its products remain at the forefront of Australia’s growing sustainable energy needs.

Founded in 2013, RedEarth is an Australian owned and operated domestic producer of energy storage systems for residential, commercial and industrial use.

RedEarth will be exhibiting at the All Energy conference in Melbourne on 23rd and 24th October at stand RR123.
