Australian electrification advocacy group and consumer energy champion Rewiring Australia has launched a new AI-powered advisor tool to provide people across the country with free and personalised advice on how to electrify your home.
Billed as Electric Saul – named after Electrify Australia’s co-founder Dr Saul Griffith, rather than any Biblical personalities – the new AI-powered tool is designed to provide personalised electrification advice based on an individual’s specific situation.
Starting with a user’s postcode and housing situation, Electric Saul helps review electrification options available to average homes in that area and highlight potential savings.
Electrify Australia’s CEO Francis Vierboom, who announced the new tool on his LinkedIn account, explained that the latest AI tools “excel” at providing personalised information based on a user’s “specific questions and plans”.
Backed by Google’s Digital Future Initiative team, Electric Saul incorporates details about a user’s home, location, car, and goals, to provide “personalised guidance, real numbers, and a practical plan.”
