Australian solar glass pioneer ClearVue announced this week that it has expanded its presence in the Middle East with new arrangements to distribute its products in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
ClearVue announced on Monday that it had expanded its arrangements with Qatari company Alutec, a leader in glass processing and façade manufacturing.
Specifically, the new arrangement specifically permits sub-distribution of ClearVue’s solar glass products in the UAE by Alutec through Dune MENA General Trading, another subsidiary of Alutec’s parent company Aria Holding.
The expansion of its partnership with Alutec will allow ClearVue’s Build Integrated Photovoltaic (BIPV) products to be sold directly within the UAE, further expanding the company’s presence in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
Alutec will also manufacture and supply the finished insulated glass unit (IGU) products to Dune Trading to supply the UAE.
“Expansion of the agreement to include Dune Trading in the UAE represents another milestone in ClearVue’s expansion into the Middle East,” said Martin Deil, global CEO of ClearVue Technologies.
“The UAE is a dynamic market committed to bold construction projects with ambitious sustainability goals, and we are excited to bring our technology to projects that will help meet these goals.
“Our expanding relationship with Alutec through Aria Holding demonstrates the scalability and adaptability of our solar glazing technology. We look forward to partnering with other Aria Group Companies as we continue to deliver on our strategy of regional and global growth.”
ClearVue also hopes to further strengthen its relationship with Aria Holding in India and Saudi Arabia with agreements set to be concluded later this year.
