15 million reasons to smile at RenewEconomy

Published by

RenewEconomy has reached another major milestone, thanks to a record-breaking month of April. Total page views for the website this month passed the 15 million mark, with April posting the first ever monthly total of more than 600,000 page views.

The growth of RenewEconomy has been as consistent as it has been strong. The April number was more than 50 per cent more than the previous April.

But for one occasion, when Easter was in March, RenewEconomy has recorded an unbroken rise in readership with each month beating the year-ago figure for the same month.

On top of that, our sister site One Step Off The Grid has added even more readers and page views to the stable, and is on track to record nearly 1 million page views in its own right in its first year.

Reader numbers are also growing. At RenewEconomy, a total of four million unique visitors have come to the site since its launch in 2012. On One Step, nearly 250,000 unique visitors have been to the site since its launch last year.

Those numbers are expected to grow rapidly as more consumers – households, businesses, councils and community groups – look to solar and storage and micro-grid technologies.

RenewEconomy and One Step Off The Grid would like to thank their readers and supporters – advertisers, donors, contributors, partner sites, tweeters and commenters – for their continued engagement.
