Webinar: Hard-earned lessons for BESS operators – warranties, diagnostics, and contract design

Published by

Australia’s battery fleet has reached massive scale, and the first wave of projects is now revealing hard-earned lessons on performance, reliability and contract design. Batteries also require far more warranty maintenance than other renewables.

Join Glenn Dahlenburg, strategist and founder of GCD Advisory and former GM of Energy Storage at Energy Queensland, as he shares lessons from delivering batteries across Australia.

He is joined by Chris Picket from TWAICE, who shows how independent, third-party data analytics can help manufacturers and owners monitor performance and prevent issues. Renew Economy editor-in-chief Giles Parkinson will chair the session.

For asset owners, buyers, managers and O&M teams, the webinar will cover performance metrics, service levels, warranty-compliant operating procedures, independent data measurement, distinguishing data gaps from genuine performance breaches, and Glenn’s “Lessons Learned” checklist for a successful 20-year asset.
