Huawei launched the FusionHome smart energy solution in Australia

PRESS RELEASE

On the 10thApril Smart Energy 2018, Steven Zhou, General Manager for Huawei Smart PV Business Residential Solution, launched their newest product, showcasing the brilliant experience bought by the residential PV solution now being offered to Australian solar market.

Huawei integrates the latest digital and internet technology with residential solar technology. The latest SUN2000-L inverter 2KTL to 5KTL, optimiser and safety box have been launched into Australian market, bringing you optimised PV power generation, which is a one-size-fits-all solution with flexible design & easy installation features. SUN2000-L residential inverter has five innovations that can perfectly solve the challenges facing the Australian solar market.

Innovation one: Optimiser(s) Suitable for Different Scenarios

In the conventional solution, there are several limitations about residential system installation, like all modules in one string had to face the same direction, modules could not be located in shaded areas, individual strings required identical module type, which reduce the ROI (return on investment).

Huawei partial optimiser solution can deal with complex scenarios and perfectly minimize the effect caused by the limitations above, enables homeowner to put more panels on rooftop even under some shadow to maximise solar production.

Innovation two: Safety Box and Customised Safer AC Connector

Current issues include the fact that a DC module voltage in an on-grid rooftop PV system can be higher than 500V, and can’t be shut down in emergency, even when the inverter is turned off. Huawei FusionHome Smart PV Solution can achieve rooftop DC voltage shutdown by adding Huawei Smart PV safety box and full optimisers, securing personal and asset high safety.

Innovation three: Integrated Battery Interface for Simple Expansion

Conventional AC coupled battery solutions require homeowners to buy another battery inverter and conduct system retrofit. Huawei have integrated battery interface on the SUN2000-5KTL inverter, enabling a much lower up-front cost. Homeowners can add a battery whenever they want by simple “Plug & Play”.

Innovation four: One-Click Commission and Remote Upgrade

Conventional solutions with web browser or LCD based commissioning requires manual settings on time, date, grid code, management system IP address etc. The high temperature and humidity environment in Australia may cause the failure of LCD and buttons.

As a result, distributed residential PV system cause high long-term cost for manual onsite updates. On the other hand, Huawei provides a one-click start up and remote update, using saved files to configure the inverter by one click, ensuring a quick commissioning and remote upgrade.

Innovation five: Inverter Topology of 5-level

The cutting-edge 5-level topology provides higher efficiency (Max. efficiency 98.6), increasing power generation by over 1%, leads to higher revenue in 25 years.

Huawei’s mission is to bring digital to every person, home and organisation for a fully connected, intelligent world. We hope this FusionHome Smart PV Solution can offer a better life in.
