It’s been a week of “world’s biggest projects”. First, the Tesla big battery in South Australia gets an upgrade that will enforce its position as the world’s biggest battery and gives another reason not to burn fossil fuels.
And then billionaires Mike Cannon Brookes and Twiggy Forrest said they were backing the huge solar and battery project in Northern Territory, which will be 50 times bigger than any other solar plant built in Australia to date, and 150 times bigger than the tesla big battery.
We play snippets from an interview between Cannon Brookes and RE100 convenor Jon Dee, and we discuss the other news of the week.
