M+W Group and True Value Solar Pty Ltd., one of Australia’s largest independent residential solar PV installation companies is proud to announce the appointment of Mr. David McCallum as their new Managing Director, effective May 3rd, 2017.

True Value Solar Pty Ltd. is a subsidiary of M+W Group and headquartered in Victoria, Australia.

David’s career in solar PV throughout Australia spans more than 15 years in both the residential and commercial sector of the industry. His deep understanding of the Australian solar market, his extensive industry network and proven track record make him the ultimate fit to lead and manage the future growth of True Value Solar.

Prior to joining the company, David successfully worked as Managing Director for Conergy Australia in Brisbane for 11 years, one of Australia’s leading utility developers and EPC companies.

David’s experience in different segments of the solar industry will help him transform True Value Solar from a residential solar installation company to Australia’s leading solar energy solutions provider encompassing battery storage systems as well as Commercial and Industrial solar system solutions.

With more than 120,000 Australian customers served, True Value Solar is one of Australia’s largest nation-wide solar installation companies with the widest range of solutions from international Tier-1 partners and suppliers.

The Commercial and Industrial system solutions segment, branded M+W Energy Australia, which launched earlier this year will benefit especially from David’s know-how in innovative design and third-party financing solutions for PV projects. Clients will benefit from the global and local track record of M+W Group which has installed more than 1 GWp of PV systems world-wide as of today.

The collaborative relationship of expertise and resources brings security for our customers and partners in Australia.

True Value Solar is delighted to appoint someone with David’s extensive solar experience and proven leadership ability. David will be a tremendous asset for the company as it looks to consolidate its leading position in the residential solar segment and further grow its commercial presence through M+W Energy Australia.
