PRESS RELEASE

As battery storage expands across Australia’s energy landscape, solar installers face new opportunities to support customers seeking greater control over their energy use. At the same time, the growth of virtual power plants (VPPs) is creating new possibilities for connecting and coordinating distributed energy resources.

At All-Energy Australia 2026, Solplanet will showcase its portfolio of hybrid inverters and battery energy storage systems at Booth MM143, bringing together solar generation, storage and intelligent energy management for residential and commercial applications.

Visitors can explore the ASW TH Series hybrid inverters, the high-voltage AP-H battery range and the low-voltage AP-L series and discuss how different system configurations can address project requirements as Australia’s distributed energy market evolves.

Flexible battery storage for a changing market

As energy storage becomes an increasingly important consideration in solar installations, equipment selection and system design can influence how effectively an installation meets a customer’s needs.

For installers, the ability to accommodate different storage capacities, integrate solar generation and battery systems, and consider backup requirements can help address a broader range of residential and commercial projects.

VPPs add another dimension to this changing landscape. By coordinating distributed energy resources, they can enable participating batteries to contribute to wider energy system management. For installers, understanding the requirements of VPP-ready systems is an important consideration when advising customers about their energy options.

At All-Energy Australia, Solplanet will provide an opportunity for installers, distributors and industry professionals to explore its inverter and battery portfolio and discuss the practical considerations involved in designing solar and storage systems.

Three product ranges for residential and commercial projects

Solplanet will showcase three key product ranges at Booth MM143, each addressing different solar generation and energy storage requirements.

ASW TH Series | 15–30 kW hybrid inverters

Designed for three-phase applications, the ASW TH Series combines solar generation and battery integration with backup functionality.

With four MPPTs, support for up to 200% PV oversizing and a UPS switching time of less than 10 milliseconds, the series offers features installers can consider when designing systems for projects with different generation, storage and backup requirements.

AP-H Series | Scalable high-voltage battery storage

The AP-H Series offers 10.24–51.2 kWh of storage capacity per tower, using stackable 5.12 kWh modules.

Its modular architecture allows installers to configure capacity according to project requirements, with support for up to eight towers in parallel. This provides flexibility when planning storage systems for larger residential and commercial applications.

AP-L Series | Low-voltage battery storage

Available in 15 kWh and 16 kWh configurations, the AP-L Series offers low-voltage battery storage options for projects requiring different capacity and system configurations.

The range allows installers to explore alternative storage solutions alongside Solplanet’s wider inverter portfolio.

Both battery ranges use lithium iron phosphate (LFP) cells and feature integrated aerosol fire suppression. Commissioning through the Solplanet app supports the installation workflow.

Together, these product ranges provide installers with options for exploring different combinations of solar generation and battery storage, from residential installations to larger commercial projects.

Meet Solplanet at All-Energy Australia 2026

Installers, distributors and other industry professionals are invited to visit Solplanet at Booth MM143 on 28–29 October 2026 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Visitors can meet the team, explore Solplanet’s wider smart energy solutions portfolio and discuss how its inverter and storage technologies can support upcoming residential and commercial projects.
