Round two of the New Energy Jobs Fund now open

Published by

The Andrews Labor Government is helping Victorians to develop projects that create jobs and support clean energy with the second round of grants for the $20 million New Energy Jobs Fund (NEJF) opening today.

A total of $6 million will be made available in the next NEJF funding round with communities, industry and businesses encouraged to apply before 1 March 2017.

Grants of between $20,000 and $1 million are available to support new energy technology projects that support the uptake of renewable energy, reduce emissions, and assist community groups to develop their own projects.

Close to 100 applications were received in round one of the New Energy Jobs Fund, resulting in 24 successful projects receiving a total of over $5.8 million in grants.

Successful projects from round two of the New Energy Jobs Fund will be announced in mid-2017.
