PRESS RELEASE

[Melbourne, October 2024] – LONGi, a global leader in solar manufacturing, proudly showcased its latest innovations—the Hi-MO X6 Max and Hi-MO 9 modules—during All Energy Australia 2024. These groundbreaking products are set to redefine efficiency and performance in the solar market, offering tailored solutions for diverse applications.

Hi-MO X6 Max: Advancing Distributed Solar Solutions The Hi-MO X6 Max series is designed specifically for distributed photovoltaic (PV) systems, integrating advanced TaiRay Inside and Hybrid Passivated Back Contact (HPBC) cell technologies. This new module delivers exceptional stability, reliability, and power generation efficiency. The adoption of standardised rectangular silicon wafers simplifies installation and optimizes supply chain processes, making it an ideal choice for residential and commercial applications.

With mass production now underway, the Hi-MO X6 Max is positioned to make a significant impact in the market, providing flexible and cost-effective solutions to meet the rising demand for distributed solar energy.

Hi-MO 9: Setting New Benchmarks for Large-Scale Installations LONGi also unveiled the Hi-MO 9 module, which features the revolutionary second-generation HPBC 2.0 technology and advanced TaiRay wafer design. With an impressive conversion efficiency of up to 24.43% and a power output of 660W, the Hi-MO 9 is engineered for success in large-scale installations, even in the most challenging environments.

LONGi’s recent world record achievement of 27.30% efficiency for silicon solar cells, certified by Germany’s ISFH, underscores the company’s commitment to technological excellence, now brought to life in the Hi-MO 9 module.

Driving Sustainability through Advanced Manufacturing

Both modules are produced at LONGi’s cutting-edge facility in Jiaxing, recognized as a Global Lighthouse Factory by the World Economic Forum. The integration of digital twin technology, artificial intelligence, and big data analytics ensures that LONGi remains at the forefront of intelligent manufacturing, enhancing production efficiency while minimising energy consumption.

Market Availability and Future Impact

The Hi-MO X6 Max and Hi-MO 9 modules will be available in the Australian, New Zealand, and Pacific Island markets starting Q4 2024. These innovations position LONGi as a leader in the solar revolution, delivering products that set new standards in efficiency, reliability, and performance.
