PRESS RELEASE

Australia – EthosEnergy has been successfully completed a $2m major overhaul of a gas turbine and generator for Origin Energy at their project in Queensland, Australia.

The full scope of the project included overhaul of the generator, hot gas path inspection, unit realignment and inspections on auxiliaries and balance of plant equipment for the MHI 701D engine with associated outage.

A spokesperson from Origin Energy said, “This is the first time we have used a third party provider rather than the OEM, EthosEnergy’s ability to tailor a solution that added value for this project was key to this award.

“EthosEnergy’s commitment to the safety of everyone on site was second to none and their open, honest communication meant that a real partnership was forged adding to the success of this project.”

“Our value-driven solutions are supported by experienced engineering, project management, and coordinated planning with our customer. We focus on completing any maintenance event with Service Excellence,” said Sean Carter, SVP of APAC, Power Plant Services for EthosEnergy. “We combined our safety ethos with years of extensive experience, to get the engine fully overhauled and back online within a tight schedule and running efficiently.”
