Beijing-based Stian Reklev, from Carbon Pulse, has been watching carbon and climate policy for years. In this episode, he joins the Energy Insiders podcast to provide the view from China on climate, coal and carbon markets, and why progress on the international front is so slow.

And, Reklev reminds us, Australia does actually have a carbon market. Tony Abbott’s government helped design it, although to be fair it is not particularly useful.
