BuildingIQ partners with BUILDINGSENSE to expand services in Western Australia

Sydney – August 9, 2016 – BuildingIQ (ASX:BIQ) today announces its partnership with BUILDINGSENSE, headquartered in Perth, Australia. As a systems solution partner of SAUTER Building Control International Ltd., GAMI FCU/AHU and Pettinaroli Valve Assembly, BUILDINGSENSE has a holistic approach to designing building environments.

The partnership adds BuildingIQ’s data analytics, intelligent modeling, and predictive controls to BUILDINGSENSE’s solutions, while enabling BuildingIQ to leverage data from systems other than heating, venting, and air-conditioning. Through this new agreement, BuildingIQ will increase its presence in Western Australia and expand the capabilities of its cloud-based platform to provide a unique set of technology-enabled services for the industry.

BuildingIQ’s 5i platform allows BUILDINGSENSE to finely tune buildings both pre- and post- occupancy for better energy performance. It also empowers the incoming operations team with a cloud-based solution that will achieve energy efficiency, operational and tenant comfort goals by fine-tuning building controls as people start occupying a structure and create new heat loads.

Room controllers are vital components to the design of both Australian and European buildings. Aggregation of data at the room-level in combination with BuildingIQ’s advanced modeling, diagnostic, and measurement and verification capabilities will add unparalleled transparency to the heating and cooling operations of buildings across Western Australia. Using the room-level data in combination with numerous other external and internal variables, the 5i platform will generate a thermal model to serve as the basis of operational recommendations. This will keep buildings from drifting away from original design goals in new construction and increase efficiency in existing buildings.
