PRESS RELEASE

Newton, South Australia – November 17, 2016

At a stunning gala dinner held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre last night, Jenny Paradiso was named the 2016 Australian Telstra Business Women’s Entrepreneur of the Year award. It has been a fantastic year for Jenny, co-founder and managing director of Suntrix, after she also won the 2016 Telstra South Australian Business Woman of the Year award back in September.

Working from their kitchen table, Suntrix was established in 2009 by Jenny, a librarian, and her husband David Hille, an I.T. specialist.  They had been looking for a solar system to meet their requirements and soon realised they weren’t alone in the search for a reliable, trustworthy and experienced solar company that provided good value solutions.  “When we couldn’t find a knowledgeable and affordable solar company, we decided to source quality systems on our own.  We realised there were other like-minded people who were also looking for a reputable company that put its clients first.”

From these humble beginnings, Suntrix has now grown to a national company with a multi-million annual turnover. The solar industry has had its ups and downs but Suntrix rode the solar roller-coaster and is working even harder and smarter as a result.

The latest innovation from Jenny and the Suntrix team is a low-cost innovative solar monitoring tool. From just $195, myWatt shows homes and businesses what their solar is doing – anytime, anywhere.

As electricity prices continue to rise and lucrative feed-in tariffs come to an end, it is even more important for solar owners to know that their system is working as hard as it should. myWatt, along with Battery Energy Storage Systems, are the next step in realising Ms Paradiso’s vision for Suntrix as a solar educator, not just a provider. “We want to empower our clients with the tools to understand and make the most of their solar investment.”
