Energy Insiders Podcast October 2

Print Friendly

The big battery in South Australia that is already half complete is known as the Tesla big battery, because that’s whose technology it is using.

But the project will be owned and operated by French company Neoen, one of the most active renewable energy developers in Australia with wind farm projects in South Australia, Victoria and Queensland, and solar projects in Victoria, NSW and Queensland.

Neoen head Franck Woitiez joins Energy Insiders to talk about these projects, how the South Australia big battery will operate, and its storage ideas for other wind and solar projects, including the Victoria-based Nectar Farms and the tender in Queensland.
