Australia rooftop solar installs static at 62MW as prices edge lower

The Australian rooftop solar market steadied in October, with 62MW of installations across the nation in the last month, according to data from industry analyst SunWiz.

Despite the stable volumes, the installation rate remained well below  2014 levels, with around 600MW installed during the year, down 11 per cent on the same period a year ago.

In the latest month, prices had edges slightly lower. System sizes grew to an average 5.2kW, but this was driven by sharp growth in the 75-100kW market as large commercial installations grew more popular.

Because Australians understand grid connect no longer achieves a winner for the household budget, due to low feed in tariffs. The community has yet to gain traction with storage, hence why I’m encouraging some practical focus there.

Your team and other colleagues in your intellectual bubble are implicated in the slowing of solar installs. This is an exact result of your futuristic approach to storage. You failed to document real world current technology. The real world of current products was missed with your team stuck in their heads, with paralysis by analysis. In this way, your team contributed directly to a loss for the environment due to your unskilled neglect of the present moment as the only basis for action. Get grounded.
