Mike Barnard’s story on Senator John Madigan’s mixed messages and misinformation about wind energy has the honour of being our second most popular article of all time.
But it seems that Madigan has changed his web page, so his January 2012 media release where he calls the wind industry “sinister, powerful and dangerous” is now buried so deep on his website that we can’t find it.
Moreover Madigan’s party, the DLPÂ has removed all of their policies from their website, including their anti-wind policy dissected by Barnard. (Don’t worry, if you are missing Madigan’s previous policy, it can be found verbatim in Mike’s article.)
A note on the DLP website says a whole new load of policies are coming in early 2013. Perhaps they’ll be launched by Lord Monckton of Brenchley, who the DLP is purportedly bringing to Australia later this year.
